We supply and install a variety of suspended ceiling systems which are both functional and also pleasing on the eye with specialist knowledge of all types of suspended ceilings Depending upon client requirement, the ceilings can be designed to meet a range of options as follows.
From Suspended Grid to MF Fire Protection and Acoustic here at PartitionCraft we can work with you from design through to installation ensuring the ceiling meets both design and practical requirements.
Suspended Grid Ceilings
Exposed Grid
An exposed grid suspended ceiling system is a system with fast and simple installation and it allows the tiles to sit within the grid facilitating maintenance work in the ceiling void. The modular construction facilitates the insertion of recessed luminaires, air conditioning and ventilation grilles, and other services.
Suspended Grid Ceilings
Concealed Grid
A lightweight suspended ceiling grid is constructed, suspended either from the building soffits or a structural primary grid. Metal pan or mineral fibre ceiling tiles are fitted and as the name suggests, the grid is invisible providing a smooth, continuous finish to the underside of the ceiling. Again, the modular construction permits lights and grilles to be easily fitted.
Metal Frame (MF) Ceilings
The modern alternative to lath and plaster, plasterboard ceiling panels are screwed to a concealed steel grid and are then taped, jointed and filled to provide a continuous plasterboard surface for decoration. The use of the steel sub-grid takes out any unevenness in the structure and can be used to form architectural features like arches, curves and lighting troughs.
MF Ceilings can be both Acoustic and Fire Rated.
Suspended Ceilings for Fire Protection
We have ceilings that offer fire protection, thus improving and protecting the building’s construction and complying with fire safety regulations.

Specifications of Suspended Ceilings
Suspended ceilings have varying levels of acoustics, light reflection and design so you can choose the right one to suit your business. Read below for more information about the various attributes of a suspended ceiling:
Acoustics
An open plan office or shop will provide very different acoustics to that of a small meeting room in an office. We will find the right suspended ceiling for your business to achieve the right balance.
Light Reflection
You can save money on energy bills with the right type of ceiling and we have solutions with reflective and non-reflective surfaces to control brightness.

Humidity Resistance
Areas such as kitchens require ceilings that are capable of withstanding high temperatures and performing well in a humid environment.
Cleanliness & Air Quality
In hospitals and clean rooms a ceiling needs good anti-bacterial qualities to allow the safe operation of those building’s activities.

All of our suspended ceilings are durable, long lasting and need minimum maintenance.
